Here we go again. Since the Tucson tragedy everyone has again jumped on the band wagon of the gun control issue. For those with short term memory loss or just blind ignorance, it would be helpful to consider the fact that numerous red flags went up against Jared Loughner (the shooter) and no one said a word. If anyone recalls the Virginia Tech. massacre, the same thing happened there.
Everyone looks to jump at the gun control issue, if those same idiots had taken the time to share information and concerns of “expressed” dangerous behavior these tragic situations could easily be avoided. People have this remarkable tendency to “not get involved” that is until all hell breaks loose and people die, and now every loud mouth that wouldn’t speak up before suddenly can’t shut up.
When you have people a.k.a. NUT JOBS out here running around threatening people and acting so horrendous that it causes security issues and fear among large groups of people, TIME TO TELL SOMEONE. So much of our society today doesn’t want to talk to the police or they don’t want to be a rat. When you fail to report someone who exacts a death toll on the rest of us, you are a rat and deserving of everything bad that happens to you.
Law enforcement is there for a reason, but they are powerless as long as the public remain oblivious or just deaf and dumb to the world around them. The only gun control issues that need to be implemented are those which determine if a person is mentally stable, and the only way to really know that is for the rest of the population to speak up when they notice something that is bizarre and dangerously unusual in the actions and habits of those around them.
Gun control has never been the issue; idiot control has always been the issue. America it’s time to grow up and open up before the blood-shed begins, not shoot off your mouths after the fact. One Added note; most people who spoke up after the Tucson tragedy couldn’t wait to get on TV and on their high horse about gun control, yet so many of them knew about the shooter’s bizarre habits and rants according to the statements they made. See there? He did have accomplices, everyone who failed to speak up before the shooting. That 15 minutes of fame just hung a guilty verdict on each one.
