Keeping Them Honest, Honoring Their Truth In Reporting

From Egypt to Japan, facing bullets to facing uncertain peril at the hands of a nuclear catastrophe CNN’s Anderson Cooper and Sanjay Gupta have paved the way for a new era in honest reporting even when facing the most horrific of circumstances.



In the wake of multiple crises abroad Anderson Cooper and Dr. Sanjay Gupta have spared no effort in bringing the truth front and center at enormous risk to themselves and managed to give fair as well as accurate and focused accounts of circumstances that would have otherwise been downplayed if even reported at all.

During the most critical hours of the nuclear crisis following a massive earthquake and tsunami, Anderson Cooper and Dr. Sanjay Gupta traveled to Japan and reported any and all findings of the severity of Japan’s pending nuclear meltdown risking their own lives to get the truth.

The same however could not be said for the company they both represent, I’m speaking of course about CNN along with most other cable news stations. It seems that incompetence is now a disease that has reached pandemic proportions and prevents most reporters from telling the truth and in fact seems to have made it common place to sanitize and downplay the facts to staggeringly non factual levels.

While Cooper and Dr.Gupta stood there reporting live from Japan as to the tragedy still unfolding, their colleagues at CNN headquarters “including Don Lemon acted as if they had not heard a word being said" and countered those facts by bringing on the worst excuses for nuclear experts they could dig from the trash can.

Every media outlet went about downplaying the dangers and distorting facts that most kids already know better of around tenth grade. CNN’s Don Lemon invited a nuclear physics professor on who blatantly lied and distorted every detail of what our government officials had already presented as truth to the American public.

It’s important to note that this moronic professor had never had any formal training in the tactical nuclear field and instead spoke from the experience of an outdated textbook. Distorting the facts is the same as LYING for those educators who have not figured it out yet.

The truth was so badly distorted by EVERY network that it made for some very tense hours of concern as common sense was put into question by so-called EXPERTS that can barely tie their shoelaces and have little in common with reality.

The world is truly a better place and often safer place when you have people like Anderson Cooper and Dr. Sanjay Gupta risking their own lives to find out the truth for the rest of us and their efforts are truly heroic in this day and age of American denial and stupidity.

The real truth may be tough to hear but it’s better than being lied to time and again the way we lie to each other and teach our children to do the same. Time for this country to get their heads out of the sand and face the real world, and thanks again to people like Anderson Cooper and Sanjay Gupta for being honest enough to care about the REAL TRUTH in the first place.
