Reality vs. Rights, Abolish the Constitution?

With the political throat cutting and divisive tone around the nation, many are beginning to see a harsh reality unfolding before their eyes, the reality of circumventing or in some cases completely overriding the U.S. Constitution. Many people claim that such measures could never happen when in fact those who make the rules are the very ones creating new rules to get around everyone and everything including the Constitution.

In both state and federal government levels our lawmakers no longer ask of the people to decide anything, instead they decide for themselves and in most cases against the will of the people when creating legislation and then re-write measures to allow passage of that legislation, which if examined closely would be seen as a direct violation of the Constitution.

Across the country governors in numerous states have circumvented the basic foundations of the U.S. Constitution to enact laws against the will of the people and invoke extraordinary powers which grant exclusive control to one person over all others. Nowhere has this been demonstrated better than in Michigan where Gov. Rick Snyder has in fact created new laws to where a single person can decide and be allowed to strip an entire town of its incorporation, dissolve contracts between schools and their suppliers without warning and literally remove governing members as well as dissolve all municipal governments within the state of Michigan granting Snyder sole power and control over the whole state with impunity.

There is no part of the U.S. Constitution which allows this and in Snyder’s favor no part that specifically prohibits it except for a broad definition which Snyder in a Stalin like move has loosely offered his own twisted interpretation of and molded those laws to fit. Put simply; it’s the equivalent of giving one man the keys to every nuclear arsenal in the world without questioning his temperment in times of crisis.

Snyder is the worst but there are others, including the governors of Florida, Wisconsin, New Jersey, Ohio and many other states. The issue of the economy and state budgets are being sold to the public as a matter of saving the state’s money when in fact there is no money being saved and those governors are flat out lying to everyone and keeping the small details of their real intentions a close secret.

The so-called savings they claim will come about in fact never will, in the fine print of those money saving  lies are the smallest details of tax breaks and monetary incentives to wealthy business partners and corporations being offered in return for shared revenues from joint ventures from these snake oil salesman we now call governors.

They counted on Americans being too blind to read the fine print and then used those who were passionate about the issues to help them as they were in turn putting a knife dipped in poison into the backs of all who cared. The payoff for those corrupt lawmakers is coming around with certainty in the fact that our Constitution has no value anymore; all they have to do is create the perfect smokescreen and then use big problems to convince passionate Americans that there are better solutions than those involving Constitutional freedoms.

The reality is that our Constitution is being written off for the sake of profitable solutions. If the people of Michigan, Wisconsin and others had only considered the devil in the details, passion and politics would never have been allowed to be compromised and sold as a quick fix. Once you give up those rights you can never get them back, not even in an election because they become affixed as permanent after a certain time limit has passed. Proof once more that profit does kill conscience, and basic rights.
