The news is on, or oh god here we go again. So much of the world today is embroiled in the daily news and nearly all of them are hanging on to stories in which only half the truth is being told. Yes you heard me only half the truth is in it.
Somewhere along the way the world of journalism and reporting has taken a serious hit in the ethics department. Almost every story reported on today including CNN is lacking some measure of total honesty.
It has become a strange world where the news media is concerned, one station is pro-republican and one is pro-democrat. Again you have these same stations which overstate the facts with exaggerated details and the other which denies the existence of the problem at all.
Another example is the “expert” problem, each cable news channel has it’s own share of so-called experts which they call upon to further enhance an already bad story. Before you know it the world is turned upside down right in your living room only to find out the next day that someone else has different version of the whole thing, and it does not seem half as bad as the night before.
Everyone needs to take a moment to examine the totality of the details being handed to them, and then seek out the real answers from agencies who are not looking to land a thirty second spot on the evening news. The world will look very different to you after that, and probably look a lot better as well.
Freedom of speech seems to suddenly include freedom to lie as well, and the cable news media is earning their pay every day when it comes to the lies.
