Where are you today? So many are sitting at their desk and faced with the continuous barrage of breaking news stories, while others are at the store or in front of the television and hearing if not talking about the news cycles that won’t end.
My ears as I’m sure are like your own, nearly numb to the effects of the constant bickering and in-fighting media blitz that has consumed our web pages and cable channels. The words “can’t we all just get along”? are used more jokingly today than ever.
One thing everyone has to keep in mind, back in the day as kids we had a more simplistic method. We just threw rocks at each other. One has to wonder if the good ole days might just make a comeback with the growing animosity of our political climate.
The most important part of this mess is You. Yes, you the individual, the people and the character and strength of this nation. One thing to remember is that all of this non-sense has been going on forever, probably before most of you were born.
In the age of technology and instant news there really is a price to be paid, having to hear all of this. In my day, we just threw rocks.
